About Ricochet Arms
Welcome to Ricochet Arms!
We’re Brandon Lowe and Angela Logsdon—the new owners—and we’re honored to continue the legacy that Randy Nellsch built over the past 30 years. As Randy steps into a well-earned retirement full of adventures with his wife, Vicky, we’re committed to carrying forward the same low prices, friendly service, and community focus that have defined this shop for decades. Randy and Vicky truly became family through this process, and we are forever grateful for the time, trust, and knowledge they’ve shared with us.
Meet Brandon
Brandon is a Winfield native whose love for firearms started early. At eight years old, he sold candy bars for a school fundraiser and won a mountain bike—but decided to trade it for a lever-action .410 shotgun so he could hunt with his dad. That choice started a lifelong passion.
He’s been bird hunting, deer hunting, and has taken part in several wild pig hunts through the years. Brandon is also an Army Veteran, serving from 2000–2005, including a year deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has completed multiple shooting and tactical courses—from home defense to close-quarter combat—and brings both skill and heart into everything he does.
Meet Angie
Born and raised in Kansas and a proud Dexter High School graduate, Angie has called Winfield “home” for many years. She grew up watching her parents run several small businesses—from craft stores to restaurants—so serving the public has always been second nature to her.
Angie transitioned from waitressing in high school into the healthcare field, becoming a CNA, then an LPN, and later a paramedic in Sedgwick County. Helping people has always been her passion, and she’s excited to bring that same mindset into Ricochet Arms. She’s also discovered a new love for firearms and looks forward to learning, growing, and sharing that journey with customers.
Rooted in the Community
Both of our families—Eastman and Logsdon—have deep roots in Wilmot and Winfield. Brandon’s family owned oil wells in the Wilmot area, and Angie’s grandfather worked on them. Brandon’s grandpa (Jack) and Angie’s dad (Max) even attended school together at Queen Village in Wilmot.
With so many relatives, friends, veterans, and first responders in our lives, supporting those who serve is incredibly important to us. We hope to stock more veteran-owned brands like Grunt Style, Nine Line, and Fire Department Coffee—companies that give back to the people who keep us safe.

Our Vision for Ricochet Arms
We set out to create more than just a gun store—we want a community hub. A place where new shooters feel welcome, experienced shooters feel respected, and everyone walks out feeling more confident than when they walked in. Whether you’re into pistols, rifles, shotguns, or precision builds, we’ve got you covered with firearms, ammo, accessories, and custom orders.
Looking Ahead
Our goal is to keep learning, stay up-to-date with new products, and remain true to the small-town roots that make this place special. And yes—we’re hoping to add a coffee bar in the future. (Because, let’s be honest… caffeine and calibers just make sense.)
Thank You
Whether you’ve been with Ricochet Arms from the beginning or you’re just now joining the family, we’re grateful for your support. You’re part of what makes this place more than a store—you’re part of our story.
Thank you for being here. We can’t wait to see what the future holds—together.
